FESTIVAL FOR WORLD PEACE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Indemnity:

Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers and facilitators of the Festival for World Peace from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of participation in the event. This includes but is not limited to personal injury claims and property loss and/or damage. 

2. Weather and Force Majeure:

The festival is an outdoor event, and attendees acknowledge that the schedule and activities may be affected by weather or unforeseen circumstances. The organisers reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the event in such cases, with no obligation for refunds.

 

3. No Substance Policy:

The Festival for World Peace maintains a strict no-substance policy. Attendees are prohibited from bringing or using any illegal substances, and those found in violation will be immediately removed from the event.

 

4. Program Changes:

The festival program is subject to change without prior notice. Attendees understand and acknowledge that changes to the schedule or lineup do not entitle them to a refund.

 

5. Photographs and Videos:

Attendees grant the Festival for World Peace the right to use photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation. 

If you do not wish to be photographed we ask that you bring this to Jagad’s attention before arriving and make a reasonable effort to avoid being in group photos.

 

6. Wristbands:

Wristbands must be worn at all times during the festival. Lost or damaged wristbands may result in denied entry or being told to leave the event.

7. Footwear Compulsory:

For safety and hygiene reasons, footwear is compulsory,  apart from in rooms or the temple, while within the festival grounds. Attendees without proper footwear may be denied entry.

 

8. Security and Safety:

Attendees must comply with all security measures in place, and any refusal may result in denied entry or removal from the festival. The organisers are not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings.

9. Health and Medical:

Attendees are responsible for their own well-being. First Aid assistance will be available onsite, and attendees should promptly seek help if needed. The organisers are not liable for any health-related issues. Nimbin Hospital is located nearby for critical matters.

While we are not running the ice baths we insist that you not participate in the ice baths if you have a heart condition.

10. Food and Drink

You may bring your own food or food must be pre-ordered by the 24th of December 2025 as we do not have onsite food vendors.

Water on site cannot be drunk, please bring your own water.

Please do not bring any glass as breakage may occur. 

 

11. Alcohol and Substance Policy:

The festival has a no alcohol and substance policy. Consumption or disruptive behaviour may result in ejection without refund.

12. Age Restrictions:

All ages are welcome however minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

13. Environmental Responsibility:

Attendees are encouraged to respect the environment. Littering is strictly prohibited, and recycling facilities will be available throughout the festival grounds.

14. Entry Conditions:

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee not complying with these terms and conditions or behaving in a manner deemed disruptive or unsafe.

15. Refusal of Attendance:

The festival reserves the right to refuse attendance or entry to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to violation of event policies, unruly behaviour, or failure to comply with security measures.

16. Compliance with Laws:

Attendees must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the festival. Any illegal activities will result in immediate expulsion and may be reported to the authorities.

17. Social Media and Online Presence:

Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences on social media but should respect the privacy and rights of others. The festival may use official hashtags for promotion.

18. Pets and Animals:

For the safety and well-being of all attendees, pets and animals are not allowed within the festival grounds, with exceptions for registered service animals.

19. Restricted Areas:

Certain areas of the festival property are restricted to authorised personnel only. Unauthorised access to these areas may result in expulsion and legal action.

20. Dispute Resolution - NSW, Australia:

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement, attendees agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through mediation in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, before pursuing legal action.

21. Amendments to Terms and Conditions:

The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Attendees will be notified of significant changes, and continued attendance implies acceptance of the revised terms.
